Mukesh Chhabra, now a prominent casting director, recently shared on a BHARTI TV podcast how Suniel Shetty significantly impacted his early career. Chhabra revealed that Shetty generously gifted him a bungalow in Aram Nagar when he was casting Shetty’s daughter, Athiya Shetty, for the film Hero. Shetty, impressed by Chhabra’s work, offered the spacious property, saying, “You’ve done so much for my daughter; just take this bungalow and don’t worry about rent.” This support was crucial for Chhabra, who set up his new office in the bungalow, decorated it, and held an inauguration with many actors in attendance, including Rajkummar Rao. Over time, Chhabra’s company expanded, now having offices in Chandigarh, Delhi, and London. Chhabra has since worked on major films like Dangal and Sacred Games and made his directorial debut with ‘Dil Bechara’.
