Josh Brolin recently opened up about his exclusion from the cast of Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Brolin, who previously portrayed Cable in Deadpool 2, was not invited to return for this new MCU film. He discovered that his name was listed in the IMDb credits, despite not being involved. When asked if this meant he would appear in the film, Brolin humorously responded, “Am I? Yes! I so wanted to be in that movie.” While promoting the now-canceled Prime Video series Outer Range, Brolin explained, “Marvel is a more complex labyrinth than Outer Range will ever be. I’ll never know where that went or what I’m involved with – given the vastness of the MCU.” He also expressed that playing Cable was a lot of fun and he enjoyed the role immensely. Deadpool & Wolverine has since become a major Marvel hit, achieving significant box office success.
