Two dead in Israel stabbing, assailant killed: medics

Two people were killed and two others injured in a stabbing attack in Holon, near Tel Aviv. The attack was carried out by a Palestinian suspect from the Israeli-occupied West Bank, who was ‘neutralized’ by police and later died in hospital. The incident coincides with heightened regional tensions and follows threats of retaliation against Israel by groups backed by Iran.
